FAQ
-
What payment methods do you accept?I currently accept Paypal only, however you can use your credit/debit card without having to sign up for Paypal.
-
How long will I have to wait for my PDF pattern? As soon as an online payment (e.g. credit card or PayPal payment) is received, a confirmation email will be sent to you with a download link. The link also appears on the Thank You page.
-
How long does the download link remain active? The download link is available for 30 days. After that, it will no longer work. As such, I suggest you download your file immediately and back it up. My suggestion for backing up your patterns is to use Google Drive. I personally use this method and find it to be the most effective for storing patterns. If, for some reason, you cannot download within 30 days, please contact me.
-
Can I sell items that I made using your pattern?Of course! In fact, there is a lot of misinformation out there. You can sell anything you make using any pattern you have used, as long as the item made isn't commercially manufactured. The designer has no control over what you do with an item YOU made!!
-
How do I know if my pattern printed correctly? Each Birdcage & Thread pattern has a 1 inch box printed on the pattern page. Once you have printed a page, measure the box. It should be exactly 1 inch. If it isn't, check your printer settings to ensure that you have either checked 'No scale', 'Print 100%', 'Print to size' - depending on your printer.
-

I need help with something else, who do I contact?"My email address is birdcageandthread@gmail.com and that’s the best way to contact me. I try to respond to emails within 24 hours however in some cases it may be a little longer due to family commitments.
